The March hare did not want Alice to join them for tea because she sat down at the table uninvited. Treacle is a golden molasses substance. A treacle-well would produce treacle, which is golden molasses. The Dormouse’s story was about three little sisters who lived in a treacle-well. The workers paint the roses because the roses are white and the Queen ordered red, if the workers painted them they would save themselves from getting beheaded. Alice kept interrupting the dormouse’s story because she didn’t understand it and she interrupted to ask the dormouse questions.

Well I like your post Kal. Did you really read the two chapters or did you just go by what you heard?? Not meaning anything bad by that but how many people in our class actually read this?

Kal the idea of the author just throwing the character of the queen in the story to behead everybody to scare children is not the way I interpreted the story. What I got from it was that she’s the Queen and she can rule it the way she wants to also it is wonderland and anything can happen.

Ok Kal the reason they painted the roses is because they planted white roses. Read all the chapters you might actually get into the book if you throughly read the book
