The refrain "you can get anything you want" seemed to imply (in my opinion a certain realm of drug use) and a metaphore as to the fact that Alice Brock provided for him much of the wisdom insight and enlightenment he wished to gain, and that with such a mentor others could easily do the same.

Alice's restaurant was in Great Barrington, MA a woman named Alice M. Brock opened it. IT remained open for about one year. i am not for sure what it looked like but i think the building was big and white. The reason he wrote the song is he has a passion for song and writing and he wrote it in protest. The song is being sarcastic but is a rather smoothe song.
