There are a few things that i learned this semester in applied communications.not many but i did learn how to do many more things on the computer.for one thing i learned how to do a podcast, then learned how to cast a video pod cast. we also got to learn how to associate with other people over the internet.i realized the things that we learned in this class are going to be very helpful later on in the future in our careers.I truly believe that my writing has improved but only when o need it to. Otherwise i free write sloppily.I really enjoyed learning about the podcasts this semester. I know they will help me later in life but also now they are fun to put my own music on and share with people.well Mr.N..honestly it's easier for me to say what i did like than didn't like but i know we learned it all for a good reason. whatever projects you want to come up with is fun enough and especially educational enough for me dude.Peace

First Semester Final

This last semester I have learned how to create both audio and video pod-casts and to use Garage Band to edit and create the audio pod-casts and used iMovie to create our video pod-cast. I think that throughout the semester my writing has improved slightly, mostly because I am getting back into the concept of writing using “proper” english instead of writing how I speak. The projects that I have had the most fun with is the audio pod-casts, it takes work and time but at least they’re fun to do and we learn a lot about improving our communication skills. What I have disliked the most this semester is reading Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, it really is a lame book. Some projects that we can have fun doing and learn at the same time is the pod-casts, both video and audio, it took some imagination and some thinking to come up with the ideas and work from the ideas to a script on to the actual production.

Why I'm Afraid of Being Naughty.^

Lets start with the main topic, what i learned these past few months. I learned about Charles Dodgson and all about his hit book "Alice in Wonderland" but mostly i learned how to create a blog, publish things on a blog and create an audio podcast. unfortunately i'm not sure on how to create a vidoe podcast, but i think that i have the general idea. i don't think that my writing skills improved much this semester, but at the same time it was beneficial for me to write so that my writing skills didn't get rusty. I've enjoyed pretty much everything this semester, but mostly learning how to do the whole blogging thing. What i didn't enjoy, was the in depth analysis of all the chapters in AAIW. Though reading and discussing it were alright. And I do understand the reason for the chapter reviews (so that we'd have some content to post), but i still don't like it. Maybe something a tad bit more mature for your next senior AC class? Maybe some news reports for the video podcasts would be fun and educational, especially if the reporters could be made of!
Just to let everyone know, this is my last post so Vale, Salut, Hasta Luego, and most importantly GOOD-BYE!!!

Final

This past semester I have learned that a lot of people do not enjoy reading Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Although I in fact love the whole idea of it. I have learned how to make a podcast, which is the coolest thing that I have ever learned in school. Podcasting is something I have learned, actually enjoyed, and plan to do outside of school. As with all other English classes that I have taken, my writing has improved somewhat. There really was not a whole pile of writing to do but I still feel that I learned at least one thing along the way that would ultimately improve my writing. My favorite thing we did this semester was podcasting. I actually got to play music at school with Joe and we rocked the socks off of some people. Especially those people who may have thought we were kidding about our music. The thing I did not enjoy was Mr. N being angry when Chance messed with the singing snow-thing in the back of the room. The whole ordeal was quite scary. Any podcasting projects would be fun and educational. As far as I know, I am not the only one who enjoyed the podcasting. Everyone seemed to like it even more as Mr. N gave more and more leeway for us to choose the content and really get into the podcasts with our own creativity. It has been a very good semester as far as learning about technology. I have learned some stuff and I had a fun time doing it.

Well lets see I have learned that Alices Adventures In Wonderland was not a very god book! Sorry but I would rather watch the movie! I have also learned a lot of stuff to do with computers.
I really dont think that my writing has changed that much, it may have gotten worse but it has not gotten better.
This semester I have really enjoyed the podcasts that we have been doing, it may not seem like it but actually have, I really can't wait to finish our video podcast and post it thats really going to be fun! I really didnt enjoy the Alice in Wonderland posting and reading! I would rather not do any of that and just do podcasting!
I really wouldnt know of any other projects that are educational, maybe just the fun ones! I really liked a couple of those videos on the website we had looked at the other day, maybe we could do some kinda like those.
The main thing I have learned this semester is how to use the computer and blog and pod cast by doing a project and recording it and then downloding it to the computers. I think my writing has got a little better, but not that much. The stuff that I have enjoyed this semestr is getting on the computers and learning how to do audio and movie podcasts. The stuff that I hated about this class while posting and doing pod cast is that the class don't listen and I really didnt like the audio test where we had to download it and it keep messing up. Maybe what we can do next semester is to do some fun stuff of what we want to do like all with a movie or something cool to get it done.Maybe like a big process of what are intrest are and the process to keep working.

This past semester I learned about Lewis Carroll, mainly his childhood. I also learned how to upload pod cast and videos using the Mac laptops. I think for the most part my writing has stayed the same. If anything it improved a little, not by much though. The thing I enjoyed the most would have to be the audio pod cast. At first I really hated it but the more we messed around with it the more I got into it. I know that almost everyone if not everyone will say that they hated reading Alice in Wonderland and writing responses to it. Well guess what, I am going to have to agree with them. It just seemed like it took for ever to get through the book. Well I think that you can make the video pod cast both fun and educational. Well I hope that everyone has a nice Christmas. Oh yeah by the way I hate to break it to you but I wont be in your class next semester.

semester final

What i have learned this semester is how to write just a little bit better. Also i have learned how to put podcastes up on the internet. Although i still ain't a very good writer still fell like i have improved. Eventhough i think it all was an exsperience i think the funnest thing was making the voice podcast. I think probaly one of the things that i did not like is the time limit that we had, for i don't know much about computers so it takes me a while to figure something out. One of the things i think would be fun to do is make a song out of a bunch of other songs and post it.

The main thing i've learned this past semester is computer skills. I really have learned how to do things that most likely would have never been able to do before this class. I always thought of myself as a good writer so i don't really think that i improved a whole lot there But i do believe that i have improved some. What i have really enjoyed throughout the semester is learning to and using the macs. They are rather fun and am glad that we have used these during our blogging and whatever else we have done with them. What i disliked most was receiving zeros for not turning in questions when we were reading alice in wonderland because according to you if i wrote a response to the chapter it ws fine. Which i did up until i got so far ahead of the class that i didn't know what chapter i was supposed to write about. Well while i can't think of any projects off the top of my head as long as they include using the macs i will be fine with whatever

I have learned that it is hard to be creative sometimes. That and it is very hard not to be reading a studder while reading. My writing has improved a little not that much but some. I have enjoyed making fun of my friends while reading the script and hearing their mistakes. I don't care for a lot of things but this was ok for the most part. I hated how their is a time limit.
Have a checkers and chessed tounment when people are done with their project.

What I have learned the most would be how to use the mac computers. Also how to put up blogs and podcast on the computer. I think my writing has improved a lot this semester. when we were bloging, I think that really helped me. The things I enjoyed the most this semester was bloging and trying to make a video podcast this week. My groug didnt do a video podcast yet but i think if we did do one it would have be really fun (lol). The things I hated doing was the voice podcast, oh man they drove me nuts, but hey we did it and they were good. Aleast we did them right, also I didnt like reading that book "Alice in Wonderland" I think thats the most boring book ever or mad I just hate it because I've heard it so many times. I think we need to make a video podcast that everyone is in, kind of what the seniors did last year but different. Maybe like a music video or something. It could be educational and really fun.

1st Semester Final

This first semester I have learned to use computers to do things that I have never done before. Things like learning to blog, learning to transfer things from one prgram to another, just plainly how to use a computer to write. Has my writing improved this semester? I think it has. Blogging all the time consist of writing scripts or post. The more I wrote, the more I learned. This semester I enjoyed the podcasting and video casting the most. My favorite thing to do was the Coach Stokes interview with Barbie and Ken. I'm with Ben, the AAIW was pretty boring because we didn't really like the story that much. I still thin we learned from it though. Podcast and video podcast are both something we can do that is both fun an educational.

The main thing I have learned this semester is to read what I write because when other people read my writing I would like them to be able to understand what I am writing about. The other thing I have leaned is how to post on a computer through a blog or a pod cast. Throughout all of the assignment the one I have enjoyed the most is making a movie with grant together we work really well and come up with some really good ideas, no matter what we do we can always com up with something interesting. The thing that I disliked the most was writing post to the book Alice in Wonderland mainly because
It was so inconsistent it did not make any sense to me maybe because I don’t have a very high reading level or maybe because I have no interest about it. Furthermore, I didn’t really try because I hated reading that book.
I think if we continue to do video pod cast with different thymes like information videos maybe like a news show or something like that were we could learn and have fun people would put more effort out and will like to do it. Pretty much if we keep on the some track that were on I think everyone will be happy and continue to work there hardest.
This past semester I have learned mainly how the use of computers has transformed how today’s people share information with each other through such things as blogs and pod casts. I feel really that my writing has not progressed one bit over this semester, but in fact got no worse either. It really just stayed the same throughout all of the assignments I did on here. Throughout this semester the thing I enjoyed the most has been in the past few days working with Hoey on our masterpiece video. It has been a lot more fun than all the blogging we have done and especially the spoken pod casts we had to do toward the end. The thing I disliked the most during this 1st semester was having to read Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland. The book made absolutely no sense to me at all and really not to a lot of other people too I believe. The only type of projects I think that we can do that are both educational and fun are the video pod casts that we were introduced to at the end of the semester. They make you actually work hard on something and you have so much fun at the same time, while writing it all the way through to recording it.

A Midterm Test in this Class?

Yes, there really is a midterm for the ol' Applied Communications class. There are several specific items I want you to address today. And, I want you to do them in the order I have them assigned. I promise this will not hurt or cause you to sweat. Here we go. Do the following.

  1. Access "Edit Posts" through the "New Post" option.
  2. Look at every post you and your team have posted. Start at the beginning. You have 10 minutes to do this.
  3. As you look at your posts, reflect on what you were doing and what you learned.
  4. Create a New Post.
  5. Spend the remaining class period responding to the following prompts:
  • What have I learned this past semester?
  • Has my writing improved as the semester progressed?
  • The things I have enjoyed doing this semester are:
  • The things I have not enjoyed doing are: (Ben, I already know you think reading AAIW was a waste of time. :)
  • What type of projects can we do that are both fun and educational?
  • Add a Christmas photo and post
That's it! If any of your are sweating now, I guess I lied and please forgive me. Have a fantastic Christmas and New Year break!

brazil nut info

According to the authors at Wikipedia.com:

Today Ron we will be talking abut how the Brazil Nut is not really a nut. the definition of a nut is a simple dry fruit with one seed and rarely 2 in which the ovary wall becomes very hard at maturuity, and where the seed remains unattched or unfused with the ovary wall. After carefully reviewing that definition of a nut, it is true that a Brazil Nut is not a true nut. The Brazil Nut has a hard woody shell and inside contains usually 8-24 triangular seeds packed like segments of an orange. Thus not being a true nut because it has more than one or 2 seeds, inside the hardened outer shell. Despite their name, the most signficant exporter of Brazil Nuts is not Brazil but Bolivia, where they are called Almendras. In Brazil these nuts are called Castanhas-do-Para, but Acreans call them Castanhas-do-Acre instead. Indigenous names include Juvia in the Orinoco area, and Sapucaia in Brazil. The Cream Nut is one of the several historical names for the Brazil Nut used in America. While classified by cooks as a nut, botanists consider Brazil Nuts to be a seed and not a nut, since in nuts the shell splits in halves, with the meat being separate from the shell. After talking about all this its werid how they still sell Brazil Nuts in the cans of mixed nuts and also have them in the nut section of stores along with all the other nuts. The capsule contains a small hole at one end, which enables large rodents like the Agouti to gnaw open the capsule. They then eat some of the nuts inside while burying others for later use; some of these are able to germinate to produce new Brazil Nut Trees. Most of the seeds are planted by the Agoutis in shady places , and the yound saplings may have to wait years, in a state of dormancy, for a tree to fall and sunlight to reach it. It is not until then that it starts growing again. Capuchin Monkeys have been reported to open Brazil Nuts using a stone as an anvil. As well its food use, Brazil Nut oil is also uded as a lubricant in clocks, for making artists' paints, and in the comsmetics industry. The timber from Brazil Nut Trees is of excellent quality, but logging the trees is prohibitied by law in all three producing countries: Brazil, Bolivia, and Peru. Illegal extreaction of timber and land clearances present a continuing threat. The Brazil Nut effect, where large items mixed with other smaller items tend to rise to the top, is named after the species' of large nuts. Brazil Nuts contain small amounts of Radium, a radioactive material. Although the amount is very small, about 1-7 pci/g and most of it is not retained by the body, this is 1000 times higher than in other foods. According to Oak Ridge Associated Universities, this is not the cause of elevated levels of Radium in the soil, but due to the very extensive root system of the tree. Now after listening to this lovely and very imformative peice of information everyone should now know the Brazil Nut is not a real nut but instead a seed. We know that everyone that listens to this wil love the facts that we have shared with them. This has been Peter and Ron on QP 420.

kal- Howdy Ben?

ben- mornin kal.

kal- What have you been up to?

ben- not a whole lot just keepin up with the farm, what about you

kal- Well, I checked the cows out on that 80 acres I just bought out by your place and noticed one of them there Kubota tractors sittin` at Daniel’s place.

ben- yeah i seen that he had one of them, he says its the best tractor he’s ever had but that aint sayin much since his last one was a kioti.

kal- Yea i seen that Kioti before. It aint much better. What do you know bout them Kubotas?

ben- i think they’re from japan or somethin, you know i think that i might go look at one i think they might be a pretty good deal

kal- Well maybe, if your willing to pay any kind of money on crap. I wouldn’t buy one of them pieces of junk. They look like they were built by toddlers during their nap-time.

ben- well i hear that they’re pretty good on fuel and now-a-days thats pretty important, and that orange color sure is cool lookin!

Kal- Man I tell you what, i never thought that I would hear you talk about another tractor besides John Deere. Now there’s a possibility that you might buy a Kubota!!!! Boy I tell you man, it aint gonna be worth it.

ben- i dont know kal i sure do like john deere but i think that i should give them a try i sure hope that i wont get to disappointed i mean those japanese boys sure know how to make stuff run right.

Kal- Well they do know how to build stuff, but still i wouldn’t ever give up operating one of my Case IH’s to operate a Kubota. I wouldn't even give a Kubota a chance.

ben- ya and they’ve been around for like 108 years so they better know how to do somethin right and i’ve been hearin pretty good stuff about the new M series cab-tractors

Kal- Have they really, I don’t believe it. That was like in 1890. I think they would be a little more popular if they were around for that long.

ben- well they are very popular in japan or so they say... i think they just started to import them to the US a few years ago
Kal- I know they are popular in Japan but they don’t need to be in the U.S.A.!!!!!

BEN- well they aren’t super popular yet and i dont now if they will be but i sure think that they will be a good tractor.

Kal- Well you think what you want but i’ll never give up on a Case IH.

ben- well i sure haven’t gave up on my john deere and i dont ever plan to im just lookin for a little diversity.

Kal- Well i dont run anything on my farm besides Case IH and Caterpillar.

ben- well i think that im goin to go out and get one of them kubotas just to tick you off.

Kal- If you want to buy a piece of junk tractor just to tick me off, you need to see one of them there psycho people, or what ever they call em these days.

ben- well i think i will, and heck if i dont like it i’ll just trade it in on another deere, thats another good thing about kubota is they got real good trade in value, its almost as good as deere’s and even better than a CASE IH

Kal- Dadburnit Ben, what the hecks wrong with ya today. It seems like i was just yesterday that you were sayin` you’d never give up a Deere and you’d never use any other tractor besides John Deere.

ben- i aint talkin about givin up on a deere im just talkin about diversifying and besides they’re actually made in the USA i bet you cant say the same about case ih can you???

Kal- Well they’re made just bout anywhere because of the demand of them.

ben- yeah and then they’re imported here instead of gettin built here like every other good tractor.

Kal- We only use em, not build em. They are pure American designed.

Ben- well i look for the american quality and design not just design

Kal- They have American quality but they’re built by foreign countries, its all the same!!!!!!

Ben- I dont want no chinese man doin anything but drawin out how the tractors goin to look after americans make it and i dont want to be payin no chinese mans salary either!

Kal- Well we need more Americans to use them rather than build em’. Dadgummit!!!!!

ben- well kal i dont know what to tell you
Kal- Hang on you can tell me after I take this call. Hello, hey hows it goin? Are you kiddin me? This is all i need right now!!! Alright i’ll meet you down there!! Gosh Dernit!!!

Ben- well whats happened now??

Kal- Them derm neighbor boys next farm down from mine opened all my gates and’s lettin all my cattle out. They better hope I dont catch em’!!!!!

ben- well i better let you get after them holler at me if you need some help.

Kal- I aint gonna need your help, you’se a probably gonna bring up another conversation bout them dern Kubota tractors right in the middle of my work and set me off again.

Ben- Alright, your loss.

Kal- Sounds good, see ya tomorrow Ben!

ben- alright i’ll cya later.

hey thomas how would you like to own luxury, finesse, and best of all performance.

well i don’t know what are you talking about.

what i talking about is the mercedes s class.

aren’t those slow though?

no as a matter a fact there rather fast. this car comes with three engine models yes i said three engine models now by the look on your face your flabbergasted but thats not all this s midrange 550 has a 5.5 liter variable timing v8 pushing 391 foot pounds of torque, 382 horse power and a 0-60 time within 5 seconds flat.

flabbergasted now thats an understatement. but how much does all this cost?

well for a car of this caliber cost really isn’t an issue so what do you say how’d you like to own one of these bad boys

so in other words its incredibly expensive.

well not quite expensive its only 87,000 to 194,000

so in other cases i need to morgage my house sell three of my four kids and other such means of acquiring money to buy this car

no you’ll probably have to sell all four. but on the upside i’m looking for a kid. so what do you say

idk well what is the biggest motor you can put in this sucker.

oh so your looking for the s600 eh.

well what are we looking at here. what am i buying if i go for this car

well the s600 has a massive 5.5 liter v12 pushing out an awesome 612 foot pounds of torque and has 510 horsepower. it goes 0-60 in 4.4 seconds.

really well whats the gas mileage?

well this is its one down side it only gets 16 mpg. but in all honestly if you can afford this 100,000 plus price tag is this really a problem

well seeing how i’m selling my kids just to afford it as well as morgaging my house it might be. no never mind i’ll just siphon it of my neighbors. i’ll take it.

Hailee: So what kind of music do you like?
Andre: Rap and a little rock but not much.
Hailee: I like country. I'm a country girl. I don't really like rap.
Andre: country? I kinda like old country, you know the music that tell's a story. So why don't you like rap?
Hailee: Rap is just crap. It just drives me crazy. I think that there just sayin stuff and they dont care.
Andre: Yeah sure. Rap is like that not all rap is like that and besides all country talks about is trucks and pointless stupid stuff.
Hailee: I disagree with you. Country is the best. There's more to country than trucks and other pointless stuff. Why do you think rap is so grat?
Andre: Rap has way more to it than you think. It's about the lyrics, the rhyme, and style. People rap about everything, living and dying, love and hate, being rich and poor, being happy and sad everything.
Hailee: I know but I still think it's dumb. Country is more han you think than farming and trucks. It is the same thing as rap says about life just not rapping music. It's way better.
Andre: I don't think so, I mean how many people listen to rap verses how many people listen to country?
Hailee: I say that a lot of people listen to country than rap if I had a say. How many people listen to rap?
ndre: Mostly people in the, I don't know, but I know a lot of people listen to rap than country. And I know a lot of people not just a few Missouri people.
Hailee: Ok. If you say so. I know a lot of people too but about everybody I know loves country. I still think country's the best.
Andre: Fine. Rap is still better.

Keep Up the Great Work!

I am having more and more fun listening to your podcasts. Not only have most of you created genuinely original content, your comments to each other have improved greatly, too. As we go on to the next project called Mr. N's Adventures in Creativeland, things are going to get flipped around. I am going to have you teach the teacher. That is right, you will be teaching me things I am curious about. Now, I will be giving you the areas you will need to research. All you have to do is create a podcast that is informative, accurate, and most of all entertaining. I love to laugh when I learn stuff, so knock yourselves out! Here are some things you definitely need to know:
  1. This podcast is worth 100 points.
  2. I will give high marks for creativity.
  3. The project is due on Tuesday of next week.
  4. During the rest of the week, some of you will be gone for FFA and things. It is your responsibility to have this done on time. Coordinate with your teammate(s). If your teammate is gone you have to pick up the slack. That's the way it is out there in the real world people!
  5. I will be evaluating the effort of EACH team member. Don't let me see one person doing all of the work.
  6. I will be assigning each group their research assignment.
Even though this is a research assignment, YOU control how your findings are presented.

**** Extra Credit****
I will buy pizza for the team the class decides has the best podcast. More will be revealed about this.

Kal- Mornin’ Ben.

Ben- Mornin’ Kal

Kal- Have you seen the way them Case IH’s run and operate so smoothly?

ben- Nope but i have seen the way they drag down like a chinese automobile

Kal- You ain’t got a clue because they can handle anything and nothing never goes wrong with them.

Ben- You don’t know what your talkin’ about. you need to drive a green tractor then you’ll realize what a tractor really is.

Kal- I did drive a green tractor and I realized that red tractors are the best.

Ben- What are you talkin’ about one of those Montana tractors now or what cause im talkin’ about a John Deere and the last Case IH that I drove liked to buck me off the seat and could barely drag a hay rake.

Kal- You must be think bout one of them there Massy Fergusons, the red tractor I’m talkin bout is an IH. Case tractors happen to operate smoother than a john deere.

Ben- Nope I’m not talkin’ about a peace of junk Massy Ferguson thats worse than a case! and you must have never drivin’ an older John Deere 20 series with a sycro shift transmission those are the smoothest shifting hardest pulling tractors ever made

Kal- Wow, talkin’ old school huh? Got any thing to say bout the newer John Deere models other than they are for rich people that like to wash and clean there tractor after every use. Thats why John Deere makes a power washer.

Ben- The only reason that John Deere cost more is because they are built to higher standards with better quality material and more experienced assembly mechanics. the only thing good about a Case IH is the IH, have you ever seen a 1970’s Case tractor with more than 5000 hours on it??

Kal- I don’t think so. Anyways, have you used one of those New Holland balers yet?

Ben- No i sure haven't but I have seen some of the most lopsided bales come out of the back end of one. Now if you want to make a quality bale you should get a John Deere 148 round baler cause those will make one heavy bale

Kal- You know, i’ll have to agree with you on that, I like how John Deere balers do such a great job giving john deere mechanics high paying jobs. Think about all those hours them mechanics have behind them. You know they say that john deere has the most experienced mechanics in the world. You get the point right?

Ben- You do make a good point but the reason that the mechanics have so many hours behind them is because of the sheer number of balers that are in the field each year, the main reason that the mechanics have such a high experience is because they spend two years between going to school and working as an intern at a dealership to learn all that there is to know about working on every piece of machinery that John Deere has ever produced. and personally i think that it is a good thing that there is such a support network following behind your investment.

Kal- Ok, sounds good! Have you seen those new Cat dozers?

Ben- Yeah I have and those are some working peaces of machinery, i’d love to have one of them.

Kal- Man, I would love to just operate one bigger than a D-9.

Ben- Yeah I heard that Cat just produces 365 of the D-12 but i’d give 100 bucks to run one for a couple hours.

Kal- To tell you the truth I wouldn't want to run one with a GPS leveling systems cause it would be a lot more fun to do it yourself.

Ben- Now that is the truth it would be one big pain in the but to try and build a pond without being able to control everything yourself.

Kal- Yea it would. Anyways have you got the chance to use one of them there new Dew-Eze hay beds?

Ben- Nope not yet but i’ve seen them and personally I don’t really like them all to well they just don’t look as heavy duty as some of the other brands out on the market, such as the Hydra Bed.

Kal- Yea, Hydra Beds are pretty good and pretty tough. I prefer Besler beds myself.

Ben- Actually to tell you the truth I have never been close enough to one of them to really form much of an opinion on one. A bed that I have become very disappointed in is the Cannonball brand. They just look like they’re made way too light to handle what they say they will.

Kal- Oh man, Besler beds are great. They’re tough, they’re long lasting, and they look good too.

Ben- I’ll have to get up close to one of them one of them and look them over I see a lot of them running down the road but when you go up north there was only one brand I seen and that was a Hydra Bed.

Kal- I’ve only been around Besler and Dew-Eze. Besler has my vote by a long shot. Besler definitely outworks Dew-Eze.

Ben- Yeah the Dew-Eze are completely over rated once people move away from them I don’t think they will get many that will come back.

Kal- Yea your right on that one. Welp, i’ve got some dirt to push so i’ll see ya tomorrow morning at the restaurant so we can talk bout politics.

Ben- Alright I better go check those heifers they should start calving anytime, i’ll cya tomorrow.

Kal- Take er’ easy.

"The Man" on Peter and Ron in the Morning

Hello and good morning everyone!!! This is Ron and Peter in the morning on QP 420! Today we will be discussing the issue of... “The Man”... Aaron Honeycutt. Aaron was born on September 29, 1976. He was born in the east wing of the local hospital in Havannah, Cuba. The hospital was referred to as the Hospital of the South, as it read on the side of the building. When he was born he weighed 11lbs 7oz, and was 19 inches long. He was born on a very dark and cloudy day and it was approximately 72 degrees outside, and 76 degrees inside the delivery room where he was brought into the world by his mother Gertrude Pasonova. Aarons dad also known as Guasto’ Honeycutt was not there because he was killed in a tragic drive by in the downtown part of Havannah while he was at a night club having loads of fun. He was born with a full head of hair, it was something unheard of but not unseen.
Soon after he turned 5 years old his mother left him and ran away to the United States. He was soon found by a nun from the local Monestary. He then attended that Monestary for school until he turned 18. He turned 18 and went off to find his mother. After arrving in the U.S. he tried to locate his mother through the FBI. All he found out was that she had been killed in a car accident, about 3 months after she left him in Havannah. Aaron would soon become a citizen of the U.S. and work for a very high end law firm, Stockton, Uprihte, and Faolke. He would soon become the CEO of this firm after he showed great ambition and was the leading person at the firm. This story will finally end as Aaron Honeycutt, finally becoming “The Man”.

This has been a random story about “The Man” Aaron Honeycutt, and we will see you next time on Peter and Ron in the morning. This has been a QP 420 production.

Real Advice From A Caterpillar

Cast
Caterpillar: Dustin
Alice: Katy

CATERPILLAR: Who are you?

ALICE: I am Alice. What’s it to ya?

CATERPILLAR: I was asking because you look as if you are lost.

ALICE: Nope. I have a map. And why would I ask a talking caterpillar for anything. I don’t even understand how you could be talking.

CATERPILLAR: Well aren’t you a treat. You know? I don’t have to put up with this.

ALICE: Well then why are you? I don’t like bugs.

CATERPILLAR: Why you little...ugh!!!!! I can’t believe that I was going to help you.

ALICE: I didn’t ask for your help. Although I actually would like to ask a question.

CATERPILLAR: Well what makes you so sure that I will answer it?

ALICE: I will cut down your mushroom if you don’t.

CATERPILLAR: Okay. Please don’t cut down my mushroom. I’ll answer any question you ask me as best I can.

ALICE: Good. What do you think about blogging?

CATERPILLAR: It is fine. Why do you ask?

ALICE: Well, I was just wandering because I want to make pancakes.

CATERPILLAR: Well the best that I have on that is to add a little milk and they will be fluffier. When are you going to make these pancakes?

ALICE: I will make them on yesterday. Would you like to join me?

CATERPILLAR: No I wouldn’t but thank you for asking. Bye now.

ALICE: What a jerk.

It was November nineteenth, one cold evening
A soldier was for the first time seen and in his eye, was a passion a gleam
For this soldier had a dream and at the age of thirteen
But by the age of 17 he had went through three
Now you see that’s my current and past history

Now for the future I foresee

One year in advance 18 and by the gift of chance
He was seen asked if he would receive cash
Because he hit the mic harder than a crackhead hit glass
But he was smarter than that big record label want my voice that’s that
They change everything about it and start me rhyming about how I ain't black
How I’m a mac and how I tote the mac and how I blast the mac

Well I’m none of that
I’m the white hillbilly rapper from a meth lab city, smoked off the map
Well those boys in business suits said I was going to lose

Because on my own I had no clues
This is the story of a man with a dream
With a passion that had to be seen
And he would not stop till he was crowned king
Years he had spent not quite rich, but he was happy as a son
Because he spent days at 95.6 as DJ Midwest
And nights at Club Mix as a mc satisfying a fix
Not famous didn’t walk around with proud ignorance
But he was happy with his money and status
Wanna know what the moral is
Listen all the adults and the kids the moral of this story is
Happiness don’t mean rich
You can be dirt poor living off grits
But everyday is relaxed and just for kicks
If your happy it is what it is
See to many people neck deep in debt
Because try as they might money help them one bit
No not the Cadillac the yacht or the other
Its just debt worry’s and fret

Meanwhile they sit high on a pedestal thinking their set
See life is a gamble and they done lost the bet
So my people listen to me
You can be gangsta life is the oozie
You can be a hustla life is the money
You can be the pimp, life is the girl so sexy

But in all reality we're to busy with being the above and not being reality
Life is a game was once an analogy but I got a prophecy
Live life the game, is my message to society
Money and status are held to highly
If you got Benjamin’s your mighty

But if you got nothing but Washington’s your unsightly
That’s good people come in all presidents
Live in all residents in all colors and all accents
Not just in the green suburban white American instance
If rich poor black white Hispanic and Asians just rise to the occasion
Join together and stop faking

Lewis Carol, man or monster? Charles Dodgson was born on January 27, 1832 at Daresbury, Cheshire. His father Charles was a priest. When Charles attended Richmond Grammar School in Yorkshire he turned 12 years old. In his childhood Charles had a stutter. He only had this stutter when he was talking to adults he never had it when he was talking to young children. Which brings up one of the accusations that were penned on him being a pedophile. I believe he was not necessarily a pedophile because his obsession with young children was more of an emotional feeling than a physical attraction. Whether he forced the kids to pose nude or if he just acquired pictures from someone else I do not know. That’s why I do not think he ever did anything to the kids he just had fantasy’s about it them in his own mind and world. The reason he looked at all these pictures is because he had some real bad metal problems furthermore if he really was a pedophile then that explains why he had such mental problems and wrote such crazy stories that made no sense at all they were just nonsense.
Lewis carols had a disease called Lilliputian hallucination. The symptoms that are most commonly seen in cases like this is altered vision such as not being able to tell sizes of objects. If he was looking at a human body its might look distorted or he might not be able to see all of the body parts. Lewis Carol would also see things that were not really there and object would get really big then small. He was also accused of having a drug problem. I believe he took drugs to get ride of his headache and the to help the problems in his head. Which explains why his story Alice in Wonderland was just a bunch of nonsense because he was so confused all the time he didn’t know what was really or made up. The drug that he would have most likely have done is opium because it was a very popular drug in Lewis carols lifetime. The drug was also not illegal at the time so he could have gotten very easy. I don’t know where he had a drug problem but I do believe he took drugs to take away the pain away from his disease. Weather these accusation are really true we will never know for sure.
One reason that these statements will probably never be proven is the fact that all of his journal pages that he wrote from 1853 to 1865 are missing. In these pages there could be information about his life that would bust open everything about his life that no one knows about. Many people believe that his family is the one that caused these journal entries to disappear for the single reason of covering up his reputation and keeping his clean name going and not have everybody believing that he was a drug attic that was a pedophile with pictures of little nude kids posing into the camera. Despite what anyone says about Charles Dodgson whether he was addicted to hash or opium to take away his pain. Even if he was a pedophile who molested little kids it does not matter all that matters is that he a great author and that’s what people will remember him for.

A: I don't know...Don't you think your question was a little rude?
D: No, when someone tells a story your suppose to save your questions until after I finish.

Kal- Have you ever wondered why we actually read Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland?

Ben- Actually i was asking myself that for about 3 weeks and never got an answer to it, what’s your theory?

Kal- We have always wondered that and we want some student opinions and facts on why we read the book.

Ben- well i’ll start this discussion off. I think that the reason that we read it is because some high and mighty literature teacher was so profoundly confused by this work that instead of admitting his or her confusion labeled this book “a must read” so now we “GOTTA READ” it.

Kal- That is a great point Ben. I personally think that we read this because it has unlimited activities and projects that high schoolers world wide can do. Activities and projects include blogging, pod-casting, and even dreaded worksheets.

Ben- you do make a good point kal, but i still think that there are better novels to read and use as a launching pad for many of these activities.

Kal- True, true, true! We can’t forget that this was a top selling novel, that is another reason why the novel was chosen for us to read.

Ben- yes in fact it was a top selling novel, but that was during a time period where the choices of literature to read was was less than what we are exposed to in this day and time. If it was published today i don’t think that it would make it into the top 100 selling book.

Kal- No, definitely not! Especially with all of the other great books that have been published in the last year. Newer books would be fun to do pod-cast on because we would be able to relate to them a lot easier.

Ben- Now that you know our opinions on why we read this book we want to hear yours.

Kal- Yes, just comment us on this blog.

THANKS ALOT

CC:Thrice upon a time...
Alice: Where did you come from?
CC: A boy died, lived happily ever after.
Alice: What happened?
CC:What happened to whom?
Alice: The boy?
CC:He lived happily ever after.
Alice: How did he die?
CC: I don't know, I've never died before, nor have I ever had a dream.
Alice: Oh.
CC:So have you forgotten your little mad trip into my mad world so fast?
Alice: I guess. I had a mad trip?
CC: Of course, in fact since you don't know that was a mad trip, you must be a mad person, or maybe a sane person. I'm not sure which is which.
Alice: I guess your right. I am a very mad person.
CC: But mad people do mad things, what mad things have you ever done?
Alice: I......
Mary: Alice wake up.Your talking in your sleep.
Alice:Where am I?

Lewis Carroll was a better known name, but his real name was Charles Lutwidge Dodgson. He was born on January 27, 1832 in Daresbury, England. He died on January 14, 1898 in Guilford, England.
Lewis Carroll was known for writing Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass, but he wasn’t really a writer, he was a mathematician.

Lewis Carroll got his name by translating “Charles Lutwidge” into Latin as “Carolus Lodovicus” Then he reversed their order.
Lewis’s father was born in 1800 and studied at the University of Oxford. His name was Charles also, Charles Senior, while he was at the University he earned a first class degree in mathematics and classics. At Oxford he held a fellowship and was appointed a mathematics lecturer. He had to give up his Oxford fellowship because he married his cousin Frances Jane Lutwidge in 1827. After leaving Oxford he became a curate at All Saints’ Church in Daresbury. It was in Daresbury that 10 of their 11 kids were born.

Lewis was the third child he had two older sisters, Fanny born in 1828 and Elizabeth born in 1830. Lewis was Baptized on July 11, 1832 in his fathers church. Lewis grew up in a really strict Christian household and him and his brothers and sisters were home schooled. Lewis read mostly religious books and to prove his progress he was able to read Pilgrams Progress, he read that at the age of seven. Lewis really looked up to his father, and that’s why he went into mathematics. Lewis wasn’t the only one who wanted him to be like his father, his father also wanted Lewis to be like him so he tried really hard to accomplish that.

While the Dodgson family lived at Daresbury they struggled financially. So their father decided to switch and become a vicar at Croft-on-trees in Yorkshire in 1843 and there he got a better income. At Yorkshire they got to live in a very nice house. On August 1 1843 Lewis entered Richmond school as a boarder. He lived in the headmaster’s house. Since the school was only ten miles from his house his parents got to visit him a week after he arrived, when they arrived they found out that he was adjusting very well to a new place and that he liked it very much. While at this school he received an excellent foundation for his education, while also excelling in mathematics. When Lewis turned 14 he was enrolled at Rugby. He turned 14 on January 27, 1846! He was a very shy boy with a stammer. Being that way he was bullied a lot. Even though he was very unhappy he still got very good grades, also receiving lots of prizes and awards. Mathematics was his favorite and best subject but he did very well in all of his subjects.

In 1843 he suffered a lot of illnesses, the first being the whooping cough. Whooping cough left him with a cough and every now and then it would come back. Then the next was the mumps. The mumps left him half deaf in his right ear.
He left Rugby in December of 1849. That following May he went to the University of Oxford and continued his studies there. Lewis’s father had gone to Christ Church College Oxford and so he had wished that Lewis would attend there just like him, so he did. Although things did not start very well for Lewis, there were a shortage of accommodation and he had to return to his parent’s house and wait. Lewis was able to return to Oxford and live with the Reverend Jacob Ley, a very good friend of his fathers.

Lewis got the idea for Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland from Henry George Liddell’s children. Henry was the dean of Christ Church. Lewis always took real well to children he could really speak to them and understand them.
