Alright for the first question "where s all this evidence" the evidence in the trial was all fictional and non existant. This was a part of the confusion and illusion that the artist uses to explain and dramatize the dream world of a little girls dream. When your young you always seem to feel unable to defend yourself and often plagued with misguided accusations.
This is also the reason that she continues to forget things so quickly and easily, its a part of the frustrating reality of a dream. when you dream there is always some inconsistancy that can drive you insane such as chronic forgetfulness.
And such as in any dream everything in your dream is influenced by events and sounds around you. however this reality that stands true in most dreams did not seem to make since for why she continualy shrunk and grew. The closest explanation i culd possibly give is that she was bouncing back and forth from feelings of superiority and inferiority.
