A knave is a male servant and in the case of Alice in Wonderland, the knave is a card and is a servant of the queen. The knaves responsibilities are to do anything and everything the queen asks of them, from gardening to being pieces in a croquet game. Yes the white rabbit at the end in the courtroom is the same rabbit that Alice followed down the hole in the beginning of the story. Everyone wants Alice to leave because she has caused many problems and is constantly growing in the courtroom and is beginning to tear things up. Alice is forgetting things so quickly and continuing to grow at the end of the story because she is beginning to wake up from her dream. The white rabbit has a horn because he uses it to get the courts attention when he is about to address an issue.

I like how you added in that a knave is a male. I along with alot of others did not mention that. Good job and keep it up. Be sure to catch Oprah weekdays at 4 o'clock on WGN!

Dude Oprah did not change your life, but besides that you did an excellent job on answering the questions posted by Mr. Neuburger.

You are very explanatory with your answers. I enjoy reading your posts. I do have one question though. How do you support your answer about how the rabbit at the end of the story is the White Rabbit? If he is the White Rabbit then why is the name changed? It went from "White Rabbit" to "rabbit."
