The mock turtle and the gryphon. The mock turtle is a depressed creature that looks like a cross between a pig and a turtle. It thinks alot about its younger years. A gryphon is a cross between an eagle and a lion. There are many myths about where they come from but the best answer is from an egg (coincidentally that's also where turtles come from). I think that the gryphon went to school with the mock turtle because they both seem to have simliar experiences. but maybe they're both crazy. They're both magical creatures, and besides, it's Wonderland! anything can happen.

The duchess and phrases. i think the Duchess was in a better temper once the pepper was gone. and she did seem kind of friendly while being imprissoned with Alice. but i don't think that she's Alice's friend, she's too irritating and odd. Maybe it's just her way of trying to make friends though. The Phrase "Birds of a feather flock together" means that creatures and people like to be around simliar, to themselves, creatures and people

I enjoy reading your posts. You definitely grasp the material in AAIW. I would appreciate it if you would go back to my last extended response to you. It discusses the shortening of words. The text lingo is fine in the comments section, but I would appreciate it if you would refrain from using it in your posts. OK? :)
