The first verse in the book on page 9 pretty much says that she is describing the crocodile as a gentle creature while towards the end she politely reveals the croc as they really are. The reason that Alice follows the white rabbit is because she is rather curious on when rabbits started wearing waist coats and carrying pocket watches. She wanted to see what this rabbit was up to. There was really no winner the purpose was to get dry.

Your post is short and not really answering all the questions. you need to put more information on their to answer the questions. the races were different because the caucus race everybody won on a regular race only one person did.
I agree with HayHay. It would be nice to have your full participation during the posting process of class. You have indicated you are enjoying the reading portion of this class, but I don't see much effort from you when it comes time to writing about what you have discovered from the reading. Are you really enjoying the reading?
