You can get anything you want

Alice’s restaurant started at Massachusetts, in the small town called Great Barrington. Ray Brock bought a church in Great Barrington, and made it Alice's Restaurant aka (Back Room Rest). Alice’s restaurant was open for four years. The restaurant had church windows, with ten or so tables with forty chairs. The out side has a big cross in the front with a giant sign that said, "Alice’s Restaurant."

Arlo Guthrie wrote the song, because he and his friend got nailed for dumping trash in to the town dump illegally. He got arrested and went to court. Arlo wrote the song on his own experiences. The song was more to making you happy, as to waste time. The song was like "You can get anything you want", but it was more along the lines as every hippie loving person came to have fun and get away from life itself.

Alice is living in Provincetown, Massachusetts were she runs a art studio and gallery. Arlo Guthrie named the hit song after Alice's Restaurant because they was best friends. They seen each other every day at the restaurant. I think Arlo used to work their as a cook.

Arlo Guthrie probably had a hard life growing up as a kid. Most likely a poor family and didn't have the best class or town to live in. Alice's Restaurant. Arlo is raised funds to buy the church to make a "nonprofit interfaith organization, which brings together individuals for spiritual activities as well as cultural and educational exchanges. "

Nice post Ryan. You put a lot of facts in there that were not required. I appreciate the extra effort. I also like the way you used the quote. However, it might have worked even better if you signaled who is saying it. I'll talk more to you about it in person.
You might want to research how long the restaurant was open. I do not think it was 4 years.Good effort!
